Avoiding candy and starches can help your teeth stay healthy, as well as your gums. Also, eating fibrous fruits and vegetables, like celery, apples, lettuce, carrots, etc. can help your gums stay healthy. As you chew on these foods, the fibers can help massage your gums increase blood flow.
